Are You Wired For Success?

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to be on the fast track for success and some seem to be destined to just get by? Or have you ever seen or heard about two people that are equal in all areas, but one becomes successful and the other fails miserably? It all begins at home. Our programming about life begins in our first lessons we learn from our parents. Whatever mindset they have about success is passed on to us and because we have no other source of information we build our foundation for success on what we learn at home. If our parent’s ideas about success are based on past experiences or something they learned from their parents, it may not be based on a successful model. So the question you must ask yourself is “Are You Wired for Success?”

An example of this from my own life is that my mother did not make enough money for us to live the lifestyle she wanted, so we never had enough money and therefore lived paycheck to paycheck. At an early age (nine years old) I saw this and decided I would do everything in my power to make my own money. So I started going to the local supermarket and packing bags and helping people that had more bags than arms carry their bags home for a tip. On Saturday’s I would help the building superintendent sweep and mop the floors of the five buildings he managed. On Sunday morning I would knock on every door of those five buildings and ask the occupants if they wanted the Sunday paper or anything from the store. I was making enough money doing those things to the point where I did not have to ask my mother for anything.

Since my mom did not save money or know anything about investing, I did not know anything about saving or investing. You see my ideas about money was formed by seeing and doing what my mother did. The same is true about other areas of our lives and we will repeat these things that are ingrained in our subconscious until we reprogram ourselves and let go of those limiting beliefs.

How Do You Become Wired For Success?

You have to take inventory of your personal beliefs or things you were told by your parents, peers, coworkers, clergy, and anyone or anything that influenced you and determine if they are preventing you from being successful. You have to determine if you parents, peers, and other people that are close to you have programmed you with their ideas of how things are supposed to be.

Another example is what we have been taught about making money. We’re told to go to school, get good grades, so that we can get a good job. This has been programmed into our subconscious at home and in all of our years in school. As adults we are still judged by the job we have and how much money we make. This has become such a part of our subconscious that we rarely think of any other way to make money. There is nothing wrong with getting an education; the problem arises when we try other ways to make money other than a job. Our idea is so deeply ingrained in our subconscious that it’s difficult to succeed at anything until we have reprogrammed our mind.

How Do You Become Wired For Success?

Rewiring you subconscious requires feeding it information that you need to take action on to change your current situation. You have to read the same self improvement and self empowerment books and listen to the same personal development tapes that successful people are reading and listening to. You have to do the things that successful people do to get the results that successful people get.

These results are not going to come after reading one book or listening to one tape. It took years of programming for you to develop the mindset that you currently have, and it may take years to undo what’s been a part of you your whole life. Be consistent in your actions and you will get the results that you desire. Don’t worry if your answer to the question “Are you wired for success?” is no at this point in time, keep doing as successful people do and you will soon be wired for success!

This domain appears to recieve a good ammount of visitors. How do you get traffic to it? It gives a nice individual twist on things. I guess having something real or substantial to talk about is the most important factor.
