How to Get On the First Page of Google

There are several ways that you can get on the first page of Google and I’m going to go over three of them. None of the strategies that I’m going to discuss for getting on the first page of Google will cost you any money, but it will cost you your time, but it will be time well spent because of the organic traffic that you get will more than make up for your valuable time.

Keyword Research – you must not skip this step because people use keywords or keyword phrases to search Google for whatever they are looking for and you want your content to be the one that they click on for the answer to whatever they are searching for.

Strategy #1 – Now that you have your keyword or keyword phrases, you want to create a blog post using your main keyword in the title and once in each of the paragraphs being very careful not to SPAM by over using your keyword.

Hopefully you have a blog, but if you don’t you can go to and set one up. Some people may say that blogging is a thing of the past, but don’t tell that to people that are making tons of money from blogging. Blogs are also popular with Google because of the constant updates of new content being added to them and that’s what Google is looking for to show to its customers. Your blog should be the hub for all your marketing strategies.

Strategy #2 – Now that you have your blog post, you want to create a video using the keyword or keyword phrases used in your blog post to make a video and upload it to YouTube. Video has become very popular for getting on the first page of Google. YouTube is one of the authority websites that ranks high, and it doesn’t hurt that Google happens to own YouTube. You want to link your YouTube video back to your blog post so that you can possibly get ranked for both your blog post on the subject and your YouTube video.

Strategy #3 – Take the blog post that you wrote and turn it into an article and post it on Ezine Articles. Ezine Articles is another one of those authority websites that Google loves because of the unique content that is associated with Ezine Articles. In your resource box for your article on Ezine Articles you should link back to your blog post. Again, this helps your Ezine Article and your blog gets ranked.

Are these strategies guaranteed to get you ranked on the first page of Google? No, because for some keywords or keyword phrases it doesn’t matter what you do because there are other things that Google takes into consideration when they assign rankings such as age of the website, and how many authority sites are linking to the website just to name a few, but if you consistently follow these strategies, you will get on the first page of Google from some of your keywords or keyword phrases.
