The Lessons of Network Marketing

Most people that come into this industry do so to earn a few extra dollars a month to supplement their income, and like most of those that have come and gone; they leave without realizing the full potential of what the Network Marketing Industry has to offer. They leave without learning the lessons of Network Marketing which begin with the following basic need to know items:

E = Education – you must receive an education on the skills and strategies that will help you become a successful Network Marketer. Without this education and the knowledge of what successful Network Marketers do to ensure they have staying power in this industry, you are doomed to fail. Every day you should be reading, watching, or listening to something educational about marketing or self improvement to ensure you have the required knowledge to become a leader in this industry.

U = Understanding – there is a saying that to become successful in this industry, you need to find a successful person and do what they do. Well, there’s more to it than just doing what that successful person did, you have to understand what he or she did to become successful. Without this understanding you will have no way of knowing if what you’re doing is the right thing to be doing. The best way to get an understanding of what you’re doing is to teach it to someone else. If you understand a principle or marketing strategy well enough to teach it to someone else, you have a pretty good grasp of the principle or marketing strategy.

I = Income Producing Activity – are those activities that you perform on a daily basis that are going to generate income for your business. If you’re supposed to be writing an article for your article marketing campaign and you’re on Facebook searching for old friends, you’re not treating your business like a business, you’re treating it like a hobby and a hobby will not pay you the extra income or full-time income that you’re looking to earn.

O = Organization – or better time management is what most beginning network marketers need. When you work a full-time job and have a family, you’re going to have to manage your time to be able to do all the things that you need to become successful in the Network Marketing Industry. It may require you getting up early or staying up late to make sure you have the time you need to devote to your business.

A = Application – or applying what you learn to your business. You can buy all the e-books and marketing courses available, but if you don’t apply what you learn to your business, you’re never going to become successful. When you learn a new skill or strategy you must immediately incorporate it into your business.

By educating yourself about what it takes to become successful; understanding the reasons why you’re doing what you’re doing and turning that knowledge into income producing activities by applying what you learned to you business, you will become more organized and build a successful network marketing business just by learning and understanding the lessons of Network Marketing .
